Down jacket that repels water even after 20 dry cleaning cycles
Is the Tabitarium recycled nylon down jacket water repellent? How water repellent is it? We have just received an enquiry from one of our shops, so we would like to present you with some data on the water repellency.
When tested at the Kaken Test Centre, a brand new down jacket has a water repellency level of 4 (the highest level is 5) and after 20 dry cleanings it still has a water repellency level of 3. In general, in the field of outdoor clothing, a grade 3 or higher is considered to be a water-repellent material, and the fact that the Tavitarium down jacket has retained its grade 3 water repellency after 20 dry cleaning cycles means that it is a durable water-repellent material. This means that the Tabitarium down jacket is a durable water repellent material.
